Review: Modelismo: Historias en Miniatura

Hoy os traigo una breve review de lo que me dejo el cartero el otro día:

Se trata del libro "Modelismo: Historias en Miniatura". Para financiarlo, en diciembre de 2013 crearon una campaña de crownfunding que resulto ser bastante exitosa. Existían varias opciones de aportación, y mis padres decidieron que seria un buen regalo de reyes para mi la aportación mas alta (Gracias papis! :)

Today ill be showing you what the postman brought the other day. Its the book "Modelismo, Historias en Miniatura" (Modelling: Miniature histories). To fund it, the authors started a crowfunding project on dec-2013, and it turned out to be quite a success. There were few options of pledge, and my parents decided it would be a nice xmass present for me to have the highest pledge level. Thanks dad and mom!!!

Además del libro (que ya de por si es un pasote), incluyeron un DVD con varios tutoriales (he visto solo el de cuero y me ha encantado!), una revista con trabajos de los monos, un maniquí anatómico (al que tendré que darle caña, a ver si "creo algo"), varias laminas y varias pegatinas.

Sobre la calidad del libro, sobran las palabras. Tanto el aspecto físico del libro y todos los extras, como el contenido del mismo (aun no lo he podido leer a fondo, pero ya me ha dado tiempo a aprender un par de trucos). La calidad de impresión es bastante buena y las fotos son excelentes. Todo es muy informativo.

Apart from the book (wich is pretty awesome itself), they added a DVD with 4 tutorials (i just saw the leather one and its really cool), a magazine with works from the monekys, an anathomic manequin (ill have to work it out one day!), few illustrations and some stickers. About the book, all is great. Both the book itself and the quality of the contents and all the extras are pretty good (i had no thime to read it all over yet, but i already leart few tricks) The printing is good and the pics are superb. Everything is clean and clear.

No os voy a enseñar mas fotos, que no me parece bien, pero os podéis hacer una idea.

En resumen: Un gran libro que me parece que voy a leer y releer muchas veces. La campaña fue un éxito y diría que no fue caro para todo lo que aportan (47€ en total mi aportación). Yo personalmente estoy encantado. Eso si, ya han anunciado que el libro no se va a volver a reeditar, por lo que si no se aportó en su momento, ya no podrás conseguirlo "nuevo"... una lastima para todos los que no pudieron aportar en su día. Solo me queda añadir: "felicidades Antonio y a todos los monos por un trabajo magníficamente hecho"

Final words: A great book that i think ill read it over and over again. The campaign was successfull and i dont think it was expensive after all that it shows (my pledge was only 47€). Im personally pleased. The creators have already admited that they wont be doing more copies, so sadly, the people who didnt pledge on the campaing wont have the chance to get it.
Just one more thing "Congratulations Antonio and all the monkeys for a magnificent work"
